New mandat for the COSC

CAI has been mandated by the COSC (Swiss Official Chronometer’s Controlling) for the development of its new information system. The system will support the production management and the steering systems necessary for certification of chronometers. The COSC is an official institution and is accredited by the Federal Office of Metrology and Accreditation (METAS). It has three laboratories (Bienne, Le Locle and Geneva) that enable it to certify more than one million movements per year. The mechanisms having passed this control successfully get a certificate and thus meet the requirements of ISO 3159. The biggest names in Swiss watchmaking rely on this institution. (www.cosc.ch)
